The Distress of Sleepless Hours

Restlessness can ensnare you like a vice during the night. Every noise becomes amplified, every shadow takes on an ominous form. You toss and turn, your mind racing, desperate for some elusive peace. Existing With A Mind That Won't Quiet

It's in these moments of helplessness that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the resilient/unyielding spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

An Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia can be a crushing weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, searching for sleep that just seems out of reach. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity ridden anxieties and exhaustion. This constant state of wakefulness transforms you into a prisoner of your own mind.

Craving for Sweet Oblivion

The grip of oblivion was a siren's call, a whispered promise of rest. To fade in its embrace was to still the incessant chant of existence. The reality's sharp edges dissolved under the influence of its calm.

To truly long oblivion was to ache for a passing respite from the cruelty of being.
